my grandfather was a soldier, I shot my first gun larger than I was back then around 3yo; still doesn't make me want to own one

I've shot a rifle. Never seen any other type of gun except in musuems.

I was given the task of guarding the chickens from foxes and hawks. I was 8 & taught to use a 22 rifle.
