How could anyone have known? I was worried for return to walled gardens à la ’90s AOL, not self-inflicted Ministries of Truth.

I did know at points, when I think back. I knew upon seeing Twitter for the first time that it was game-changing. I had hope!

As my grandpa said "hope for the best, prepare for the worst." 1/2

The latter is hard, because it feels like it cuts down the former. But being prepared helps make hope easier, at least for me.
