All I managed to get today is a short afternoon siesta. Pulse still too high to sleep. Resting pulse of 122 is not good.

Fireworks still set me on edge. After 45 yrs, I still fight Vietnam memories. Now that it is quiet, I can bring my pulse down.

In Costa Rica, firecrackers start before Xmas & end after new years. Except for Xmas eve & new years, they stop at 10pm.
