After XHTML, the W3C has lost a lot of visibility. I only know it, b/c standards as Web Components or WebVR happen there 馃槗

I agree that HTML5 was a difficult and strange change point in @w3c lifespan/timeline. It's been adrift in many ways since.

what worries me about it is that there's barely any presence or outreach. One mostly sees corporations at meetups/confs
