while I'm 49, when I changed my diet (reducing carbs drastically) my "mental fog" seemed to clear.

I am 21 yrs over the baseline, but I still pgm, start new areas of research, and take < 30 min to solve hard Sudoku w/o notes.

That's fantastic! Research does show if we use it we're less likely lose it! What about increase in or new type of thought?
