Who here feels the shame I do that the Web - especially social networks and media outlets - is being used as just another push media outlet?

I don't see it as a 1:1 @soypunk - it was for a time perhaps - but especially in a sociopolitical context the Web *seems* mostly a viewport.

Because there are so many other uses? Are we caught in a loop of only reinventing mostly unidirectional communication?
