Despite the loss of semantics in HTML5, the abilities we have now to build actual Web applications (like @vivaldibrowser). Can both coexist?

I think my message was poorly worded as I'm a bit in shock over the lack of #a11y when I was thinking we'd made progress.

it feels to me that a11y is treated as an add on that experts do now. Opposed to just everyone during day to day working :(
