Just told by phone-based tech support dude @CoxHelp that it is ILLEGAL under your TOS to use a VPN legally? Please tell me he's misinformed.

I must apologize. While unsupported by us it's perfectly legal to use a VPN. What's going on? -Colleen

Thank you Colleen @CoxHelp - I explained it, but apparently the tech support person thought I didn't understand HIM. I understand fine, thx!

Right? Freakin' gotta be a misguided person there. I'm paying top dollar for a work line FFS. @CoxHelp
I say it's crap and am looking at my alternatives, which are practically non-existent. #FAIL

A less than nice tech support guy got mad at me for stopping him mid-sentence as he fussed with the script "how to reboot a modem."

As it turns out, a very nice online support person @coxhelp here on Twitter simply clarified VPN is unsupported - not TOS violation!

absolutely - and that's what I told the tech support guy. He was angry at me for correcting him mid-script :/
That's beyond the pale. I can't not NOT use a VPN to do my work. @SinaBahram um @CoxHelp - what is the story with this?
