FWIW, I'm a feminist, a proud SJW and I support Douglas Crockford. I've blamed and shamed in public and it hurt ME and me alone in the end.

Public naming and shaming is the worst. It's literally a statement of mob rule & use of threat to push your viewpoint on others

Social engineering at its most destructive, indeed. On this we strongly agree. :)
Yes. And it's a very controversial issue as it involves public naming and shaming and a very messy argument over feminism and SJWs
All the more reason I wear it with pride. If I can't be for social justice, what kind of world citizen am I?

Feminists and Social Justice Warriors have existed for all of human history. We just use the terms bitterly and without regard now @iainspad

I've been called all kinds of ridiculous (and rarely funny or accurate) names since early childhood. What's a few more?
Questionable agendas and vitriol always have existed. We have, IMO, pumped up the volume. @lamarca_

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad it was "years ago" - and hopefully none of that crap is going on now!
