What personality quirk, flaw or difference has given you the most difficulty in your life? Mine is certainly a hefty helping of self-hatred.

Yikes, do I relate to that! I describe it as "The Raw Nerve" - which could be a funny song title. Or the name of a pub!

Yup. And for me, it's not the inability - I have the ability (and I believe you do too!) it's my self-perception of the ability.
Our phobias can absolutely be paralyzing. It's very difficult indeed. I am very close to someone with Agoraphobia - and it's rough :(
Have your own style party! I often do funny dances around the room. I talk to my stuffed Yoda regularly too.

Way too hard to describe in a tweet. But I've made a life that avoids the major difficulties, and now tackling them head on :)

Avoidance is an absolutely logical and biological response to fear - I think we all could give ourselves a break over this :)
