I find pticly distressing atm the thousands drowning in the Med as they flee war. Insufficiently "lucky" in their birthplace 😭

I agree. Furthermore, I think the real horror there is the turning of backs to the situation. Empathy is becoming a rare trait.

I live mere miles from the Great American Electric Fence. I've watched it be built. It is egregious, abominable, wrong.

Oh, I live in a hotbox of hatred down here. Fortunately, there's a good bit of a counter-culture alive and well in Tucson.

Ha! Actually, lots of Libertarian leaning folks out here. On paper, I like Libertarian ideals. As it is here, not so much.
