I believe but don't expect anyone else to agree: There is systemic, institutional depression across the Web Industry going on. DO you agree?

Replying to @mholzschlag
@mholzschlag I’d even say it’s more like bipolar disorder, weaving manic and depressive all the time.

@dotmariusz I like that description and think it's accurate for me - and anyone or orgs that are basically upbeat and optimistic at heart.

@adamhepton Adam, how are you as team lead working to address this concern? I'm really looking for practical ideas so anything ya got!
@adamhepton That's an excellent way to manage the individual issues - and I am glad you take the time to actually do that (most leads don't)
@adamhepton How about morale in terms of the team as a whole?
@adamhepton Interesting! I've not really compared the two as separate, since every agile environment I've worked in has been hybridized.
@adamhepton @Raelshark Deadlines do put enormous pressure onto people, and it's front-loaded so the expectation is always high pressure.
@adamhepton @Raelshark Human problems are iterative, it makes sense to address them in an iterative process. I encourage this myself.

@adamhepton If truer words were ever writ! It is /the people/ that make or don't make something work. @Raelshark
@adamhepton @Raelshark I think that's a really good description of depression, FWIW! "Knitting fog"
