@mholzschlag my blood pressure tends to be close to their cutoff point, so I have two reasons to keep it down, not just my own health

@immeemz Indeed, not everyone can for so many different reasons - geographic, health, faith, meds, illness etc. Gratitude still applies :)

@mholzschlag Platelet donation is more time consuming, but since they put the remaining components back, it leaves you less wonky afterwards

@immeemz @mholzschlag I find it odd that history of breast cancer isn't what bars me for life from donating but having lived in UK (mad cow)
