People confuse @W3c RecsNspecs with explicit standards. Web Standards is a misnomer, always was. Now even W3C folk don't get the difference!

@johnoxtonking There used to be a broader river between Open Web and Open Source activism. I see much more crossover nowadays, for the good!
@johnoxtonking Humanism and the Web go hand in hand for me. I am only interested in human-first technology which is where advocacy plays in.

@johnoxtonking Instead of standards, I'm moving toward human-first ideals in our projects and processes. That seems relevant and worthwhile.
