Reality check me when you have a few. Why am I at 52 so late to dealing with issues of recognition, gender economics and historical fame?

@mollydotcom I think there’s more attention on those issues in general right now, and especially so i/r/t tech. (me too)

@lemay Thank you Laura. No one could have made me feel better about all this than you. I recall those Lemay hater horrors on Amazon mid-90s.

@mollydotcom Maybe I wasn’t old enough/tech enough/advanced enough/not doing open source/???

@mollydotcom I've spent a lot of time re-examining my experiences in that light. It's strange.

@lemay Strange, and for me, I have a lot of anger coming up. I keep thinking I should watch my mouth and not offend. Then I remember, um...

@lemay So any tips as you make it through this? Too bad you're not closer dammit! It really has been far too long, my dear.

@mollydotcom Ugh, I wish I had tips. :( Sometimes I get stubborn - fuck it, you can't get rid of me, I was here first. (h/t @ceejbot)

@lemay @ceejbot "I was here first!" I like that. I can get away with that as long as you aren't in the room, Laura ;-) haha :*
