I go from feeling good about The Web and excited to be back, to depressed as hell about it. Is it just me? Reality check me, please? Thanks.

@mollydotcom there are exciting bits & depressing bits. Sometimes from the same people on the same day. Drink.

@pwcc I can't drink anymore. Maybe that's the problem? :P

@mollydotcom Not just you. It’s shifted from being the world we hoped for to reflecting the world we’ve got. But sometimes it’s brilliant.

@wasabicube That's a brilliant insight. May I keep it? And, you get a heart!

@mollydotcom when we love something so much, we’ll inevitably be disappointed in what it does sometimes/what other people do with it

@mollydotcom If you love something it's easy to swing back and forth about it. Plus I've got anxiety like gangbusters, doesn't help

@mollydotcom no, it's not just you. The web has a lot of potential, but accessibility issues seem to be getting worse

@mollydotcom I think both despair and dazzled love, in inseparable conjunction, are a rational response to the state of the web today.
