Is advocacy and setting fire under people no longer a need in our industry? I'm struggling here. I have a window of time, not an open door.

@mollydotcom It’s more necessary than ever. We may have many browsers not “just IE” but the web is regressing to walled gardens again. :(

That is entirely my beef. @cackhanded Right there. JS Frameworks as the heart of the open web stack's undoing. NO regard for principals.

@mollydotcom I’m hoping that content blockers on iOS kill the “every browser has JS now” mantra and people have to think about HTML again.

@cackhanded They won't know what HTML is. The generation we are dealing with now thinks HTML IS JavaScript. (our heads, brick walls)
