HTML5 is not markup. It is mashup. Remember DHTML? Same idea but somewhat evolved. DHTML: HTML+CSS+DOM+JS || HTML5: HTML+CSS+SET OF APIS+JS.

@mollydotcom Thats DHTML5, HTML5 is the markup, like always. The markup contains more "behavioral elements" out of the box though. /opinion

@ojrask unless you want to say "that's DHTML5" where HTML is the markup. That would be logical (except for the random 5).

@mollydotcom to me saying HTML5 is multiple languages mashed together is like saying MS Word 2010 is multiple MS Office products.
