It just took me an hour to install a modem. Why? Because @CoxComm refused to connect me without registering it via an "automated" process.

@mollydotcom You/me lucky day? Just had to reconfigure my entire wireless network after upgrading Bluetooth software & drivers - OH THE JOY!

@TucsonNewsTrash They got you too? Cox or different provider? My brother Mo suggested it's because Mercury is in retrograde, FWIW.

@mollydotcom Network router is fine - updated Bluetooth software messed up my laptop wireless configuration setting - no idea as to why :/

@TucsonNewsTrash weird1 I will tell you this - Cox at least was struggling with IP and DNS issues. Their tech support was very good, though!
