@abledaccess I'm a very naive child sometimes. Half a century and the idea that compassion is EVER an afterthought still astonishes me.

@mollydotcom you're far from naive. Modern medicine, while wholly responsible for my (our?) still being here, is in an incredibly sad state.

@abledaccess That's true. Although as the author or the article points out, a lack of compassion in #healthcare isn't a 'modern' phenomenon.
