So Material Design and MDL framework. Like: clean, easy. Dislike: inhibits design innovation. Bored to tears w MD on Android. Your thoughts?

@EsksideDesign Hmm. Seems to me with bootstrap you have a lot more innovative options. I need to work with MDL for a bit and see. :)

@dustinwilson I'm going to have to look more into the typography issues - typography and chrome OS = a big pain as well.
@EsksideDesign It has potential. Constraints can both limit us and force us to innovate. The #materialdesign guidelines reveal this well.

@dustinwilson I pounded on Chrome OS pretty hard last year and had a lot of oogies with typography, although constant improvements underway.

@mollydotcom Great for Google products, but not for everyone. A design community conforming to a single set of guidelines sounds boring.

@_JamesRichards I tend to think it would be stultifying to work in one medium all the time. #materialdesign is, in a sense, a Web medium.

@blogtackular it does meet a sweet spot. I just fear for the next year of Web design ;-)

@michaelhanon I don't disagree. I would suggest that esthetics play a significant role in how an app and a human interact - or don't.
