@mollydotcom What about something like prednisolone?

@martindevore Oh that'd work - but corticosteroids are the most powerful anti-inflammatories in existence. Long term use is not recommended.

@mollydotcom I know. My cat Ghost is on them. She'll have 1 a day for a week, then half of one every other day for a week and then off them.

@martindevore It's called a "burst" - that's the way it has to be done for healthy creatures! I can't touch it. I hope it's helping Ghost :)

@mollydotcom Goblin, on the other hand, who is also a shelter rescue, is healthy as a horse. Ghost is my delicate baby.

@martindevore awww. My Honey just came over to give me purr therapy. She's both a delicate flower and a furious feline! (kinda like her ma)

@mollydotcom It does. Her crud goes away for awhile then returns. And then it's Clavamox and Prednisolone again. She was a shelter rescue.
