Anyone else ever have to have their teeth removed for medical reasons? This is very disconcerting to me. I want more information! Thank you!

@mollydotcom truth be told he's been less prone to infection and healthier w/o constantly rotting teeth, and not in nearly as much pain.

@kirabug every lperson I talk to who has had or knows somebody who has it done for medical reasons has benefited. The idea freaks me out.

@mollydotcom my dad did but it was because his teeth were big and couldn't deal with the braces they had back then

@dstorey But he was otherwise healthy? They were going to give me braces before the Big Crasheroonie but this is to prevent future problems.

@mollydotcom I've had teeth removed to make room in my mouth for orthodontics. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

@mollydotcom my husband's nebulized lung meds wrecked his teeth over 30 years. He has a bottom full plate and a half plate on top. He's 38

@mollydotcom the hardest part was the recovery, which for him took about 2 months for the bottom plate. That was years ago though.

@mollydotcom does a wisdom tooth count? I was too late so the dentist refused treatment and sent me to a real hospital. Went fine.
