Ok, so examples of CSS syntax for gradients (dev.w3.org/csswg/css-images-…) can’t be implemented in SVG ATM. Coming up with my own syntax then.

@DmitryBaranovsk maybe you can with one of the earlier versions of the syntax (there's been 4 IIRC)
