Since the folks @chromebrowser were SO HELPFUL (not) I've managed my Chrome problem via extreme annihilation. Thanks @google - love you too.

@mollydotcom @StuRobson have you password protected your sync settings in chrome. Saying that I have and I don't see the same issue you do.

@Paul_Kinlan I'd check but I removed Chrome from this machine after taking too much time from real work. I'll give it another go @StuRobson
