Hmm, what's an orange fruit that looks like papaya or cantelope but isn't either? No descriptive flavor other than "melony" #confusedFruit

Nope, this strange fruit is not persimmon, @brunogirin Any other guesses?

@mollydotcom sounds like a temptation melon - it's a combo between a honeydew and cantaloupe

@kmactane Hey Kagan! Turned out to be a "Temptation Melon" (should be a name for a band, eh?) cantelope/honeydew cross.

Lots of sorta-but-not-quite-cantelope melon varieties, @mollydotcom, including Turkish "black melon" (not black), but I vote for MANGO.
