Dear New Zealand: Thank you for magnificent, affordable savingon blancs that have SCREW TOPS! Upscale, yet with a hint of street. Love, Mols

@stevens_phil <-- fake Kiwi alert. Yes, he's a farmer and king of alpacas over there in New Zealand, but he started out a desert rat.

@mollydotcom Seriously, you don't have screw tops? Most of our wines have them, managed to get past the snob factor. Life is very easy!

@neo_the_fat_cat I'm sorry to keep shocking you with the incredibly non-progressive ways of the USA. Please to forgive?

@benschwarz You're Aussie, aren't ya Ben. Weep for the USA, for once upon a moment of time we were strong. And progressive. And smart.
@madpilot @mosaik Yeah, but what's with Perth? No wine in a nice place of an afternoon unless you buy a full meal (when you already had one)
@madpilot @mosaik I guess it's time to come back! I loved Australia. And Perth and I are a good fit in terms of weather and friendship :D

@mollydotcom Almost all our wine bottles have screw caps now here in Australia too. It’s great. Wine never gets corked.

@mosaik I like that. Wine should always flow, not be dam'd.
@madpilot @mollydotcom @ashulz It’s okay, I live in Perth and I haven’t met @madpilot or @ashulz either! :D

@mosaik @madpilot @ashulz It works that way! I rarely see my own brother who lives FIVE MINUTES drive away from me unless we're elsewhere!
