Explain this phenomenon: It starts to rain, people's car alarms go off. wtf?

@mollydotcom crappy alarms that trigger too early. Happens when the alarm is not motion triggered.

@mollydotcom yeah, some car alarms are triggered by noise, not by motion inside the cabin, so they can go off even when it's windy.

@mollydotcom also, some are triggered by motion of the car itself (so you can't steal it on a truck), those go off during windy days a lot.
