@mollydotcom also #a11y seen as niche. Should be seen as foundational to all web work, meaning the majority know why it's needed.

@mollydotcom Governments? I've only seen #a11y get serious attention when there were compliance requirements.
@mollydotcom We need to start by getting the guidelines out of stiltedly formal language and the documented successful techniques updated.
@mollydotcom And it would help to ditch levels A, AA, and AAA, which encourage "What's the least I can get away with?" #accessibility
