Why does my cat seem to think I control the weather? She wanted out. Comes running back in all fluffed up with some harsh words for Moms.

@IDMclean Yeah, proximal cause might be it. She also seems to think I control the food source. Until someone else feeds her ;)
@mollydotcom Cats think you control the weather because you also control the light, heating, duvets and doors.
