I don't think we can – well, at least I can't. We don't grow up with the 2nd Amendment and guns. Very different culture.

you raise a fantastic point. U.S. ownership of guns has precious little to do with the 2nd Amendment.

I somewhat do understand it. Still it makes me uneasy to know there are people with deadly weapons next to me who might be nuts

but, personally, that's how I'm looking at it. Different country, history, people and culture. We forget that of the US.

but guns shouldn't be the focus, the poor (mental) health care should! Making guns illegal would not stop people killing
