U.S. Americans have a paradoxical patriotism. It must confuse a lot of folks. We love its beauty and hate its horror - make sense to folks?

to me, that's being a US citizen. Most of them belive without a doubt anything good and ok for them. Once it goes bad... Well..

Patriotism doesn't make sense anywhere. It's a psychological thing. Not a logical one.
