When you give of yourself, give of yourself completely. Otherwise, just be ungiving and stay out of those groups where the POINT is giving.

Fair enough @davidfurber - and I am relatively more than less conscious of what I want back from giving: For people to be better than I am.

@mollydotcom Sometimes one doesn't realize that the point is to give until later on. Ignorance? Perhaps. They still feel burned though.
