With you there @chriseppstein I lack impulse control and work at it and I don't think it's an issue of being weak in thought or character.

@chriseppstein It's not a flaw of character. It's a flaw of defense. Abused children often lack good defenses. We mature, we work to repair.

@chriseppstein The mental and moral qualities of an individual = character. Anger is an emotional/behavioral quality.

@mollydotcom fair enough. I guess I'd say an unwillingness to work on anger implies a character flaw.

@chriseppstein Yes! An unwillingness to self-reflect or harmonize morality and behavior would definitely be a character flaw IMO.
