Why do people fight for paper marriages gay or otherwise? Marriage by Law serves those who are married to a very limited degree. Whose Law?

@Etan_Wexler My devil in the detail argument extends only to the idea that marriage of itself is not egalitarian, regardless of identity.

@mollydotcom, I, too, am critical of #marriage, but I don’t regard marriage as inherently unequal or generative of #inequality.
