"In the black" or "in the red" - color has meaning, and color meanings varied. What does black mean to you?

@mollydotcom in the black means profitability + in the red means debt. black friday is a reference to expected big profits for companies

@mollydotcom to me in the black means there's money in the bank, in the red means I owe the bank money :)
