No one can instigate fear and self-hatred in me faster than my Mother. Is it that way for others, where the parental influence is so strong?

@mollydotcom was for a long time with dad. Then realised I’m super self-critical & he was just pulling that out. We get on loads better now

@mollydotcom Only if you let them - parents like projecting their weaknesses onto their offspring. Simple answer is - don't let them.
