@mollydotcom I knew it was German but not that it was difficult to spell. Looks like "woodblow" or "woodstrike" to me.

@timtfj It's not difficult to mess up a 10 letter word with only two vowels surrounding six consonants! I mess it up myself. ;)

@mollydotcom I suppose it requires remembering whether Holz has a t in or not, but that becomes obvious on writing it down.
