Hi. I'm here with a question. In a well respected and diverse convention I saw two black people. Can someone explain Why?

@mollydotcom That fits with what the ALA survey has shown over the years, but that just pushes the “Why?” to a different level.

@mollydotcom Dark matter developers as we in the team used to say. The ones who are not visible, but form a majority of the work on the web.

@mollydotcom Possibly, though we always try to expand that range. Unfortunately(?) there’s no AIGA-style registry of designers we can mail.
