@japchap "Trick of the Tail" first Genesis album sans Peter Gabriel - a brilliant album still. Many argue this. I don't. Beautiful work.
@japchap I haven't thought about Trick of the Tail in a long time. It was my absolutely favorite album in junior year of high school!
@japchap Thinking I should dig it up. Along with From Genesis to Revelation for a real leap back in time! I think that came out in 1969?
@japchap I meant the first album they made "From Genesis to Revelation" - that was 69 - year of woodstock.
@japchap So yeah, trick was the first album post Gabriel. Still had the magic. After that I was pretty much done.
@japchap little more old school - Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound (big fave), and of course, Lamb Lies Down.
@japchap Around that time I really got into Emerson, Lake and Palmer and King Crimson. I finally saw King Crimson on the Discipline tour.
