Looking for a dataviz app that has an intuitive GUI. Preferably open source with SVG export on OS X. Suggestions (other than "build one!")?

the best I've found is
@gephi
. If you're willing to write js instead of using an app, I'd suggest
d3js.org

Trying out
@gephi
now. Definitely appears to fit the bill for a majority of my current needs.

Not sure you’ll find a good free one, unless you’re okay with GraphViz. There’s OmniGraffle, quite $$ though.

doesn't need to be free, but not mega-expensive. I prefer open source if possible. Didn't know OmniGraffle had SVG export!
