The idea behind the standards is to make techniques simple to use, easy to maintain , accessible and universal with the aim to bring its benefits to everyone.

That sounds rather open. Clean. Elegant and minimalistic, declarative code real content. Did we ever have a web like that I can't remember maybe it's just me;-)

I wish it showed improvements,but I can't count the number of times I've wished we had the same,if not very similar an internet now to about 20-25 years ago. Back then I also saw real diversity of ideas and sizable diversity,beyond fighting, now I see just fighting&no diversity.
