Following web standards helps ensure a consistent, accessible and usable experience for information, services and applications. Without them it is a Cole Porter "Anything Goes" situation resulting in frustration, confusion, mistakes, and possibly legal and financial consequences

It tackled only the easy things. It was so focused on bubblewrapping user experience, standards and safety, that it forgot that money is a form of communication and was obsoleted by platforms that let the unbanked actually buy art and products from each other.

A different perspective but it doesn't sound predatory in its capitalism or free trade ideals so that seems okay we'll talk about it a little more I think if you're interested it's a good conversation so many points of view now after 30 years
