What do you consider the definition of the word developer to be when it is used without a specific area of development? Example "I am a developer"

Developers don’t code.

Oh yes, there is quite a difference between programming and coding, not to speak of scripting. #devs

I just realised: 40 years ago, 1983 it was when I started to learn programming in HEX, with an only 0-F keyboard, a few switches and two lines of LED display. Quite simple but fundamental, the good old days!
