What does it say that I had built out a documentation site for a product at a brokerage 5 years earlier? That puts me more than 25 years back, so if I were a car, I wouldn't be old, I'd be classic, and my value would be increasing instead of decreasing. :D

Is your value decreasing? Mine has definitely decreased and I'm not really that upset about it when it comes to the web anymore I'm not sure there really is a web anymore.

In some circles, my value is decreasing. I had an SVP tell me he doesn't hire "experienced" engineers, because they know what can't be done. The more they learn about various constraints, the less value they have to the organization. My wife and kid think differently, I hope.

Your value is the value that you hold of yourself. And I have been in very difficult passages of life when I have had both emotional as well as physical influences really messing with my behavior and thoughts it was much harder to achieve that value. And you are valuable to me
