This is a question related not to your personal knowledge rather a global failure of communication. What is the description that comes to mind of the term "palliative care" There are no mistakes here this is just gathering of what has been poorly misrepresented. Thanks ya! M

Sorry, late to the question. To me "palliative care" means "comfort care". Taking care of a person at the end stages of their life to ensure comfort and quality, vs duration. If pain is an issue, provide relief. Loneliness, company. Etc.

Yes, that's a good description, and it is expanding to include people who are not end stage per se but may be still receiving treatment for very serious illnesses. It's a very fascinating abstraction that leaves a profit of 3 trillion in the last months of life per year here.
