Would love to understand better what the dmu is and the other acronyms I think I get it's about digital markets, free markets, competitive markets, and antitrust laws and rules? Fact check me please thank you! I am American you know we can't understand much ;-)

The DMU, is the Digital Markets Unit, a digital regulation enforcement agency of the UK government currently setup in shadow form. That is setup with staff but without the legislative powers to make interventions. Their role is to conduct investigations and were appropriate

That sounds mostly good. I sense hidden agendas, as a wary USA citizen in a predatory capitalist country, seems to edge on the sort of free market, then capitalism, then predatory capitalism steps taken here .And look at us now! Aren't we great? /Me rolls eyes

Of course we're bitter in the USA especially after midterms and I'm in Arizona which is a special kind of hell. So much violence, so much death facilitated by politicians. I think many citizens here look for hidden agendas and it might be my cynical viewport of mistrust.
