Asked a pt about cannabis use and was told “just regular weed.” When I pressed about potency, they said 28% THC. Another said they used cannabis that was “not very strong”… anywhere from 11-40% THC. Suffice it to say the stuff out there today is not your father‘s marijuana.

Our fathers' MJ was plenty potent. *Don't be fooled by the lab tests of years old weed stored in evidence lockers where the THC degraded into CBN before it was tested. Also, don't believe that everyone smoked "brick weed" back in the day. There was plenty of fire around.

CBG (actually CBGa) is the precursor cannabinoid to all other pentyl-cannabinoids. CBGa is formed when Genaryl-Pyrophosphate combines with Olivetolic Acid. CBGa becomes CBG, THCa, CBCa & CBDa THCa becomes THC & CBNa CBNa becomes CBN Handy cannabinoid synthesis chart attached.
