When you are in emotional pain in response to a major life stressor please understand this is NOT an illness. What you are experiencing makes sense given what you are going through.

When major life stressors such as loss of parent, spouse, home, job and dealing with major medical illness expected to end in death all occur in a very short period of time with other true awful I won't speak of does that not scale up to complex trauma which I'm diagnosed with?

I don't think complex trauma is an illness. It is very painful and debilitating and requires special support, but it is a natural reaction to what is happening, whereas "illness" suggests something foreign and unnatural. That is my perspective, anyway.

I don't think it's an illness either I believe chronic exposure to a lot of overwhelming issues in a sensitive human is extremely stressful on so many organs, hormones and glands reacting it becomes another layer of disease activity and injury. Stress does kill. Just my thoughts

In my experience absolutely true and hey travesty of Injustice indeed.
Yes, agree completely. And the psych meds prescribed to "treat" the symptoms of trauma cause more hormonal imbalance and more stress on organs.
