Has anyone noticed how boomers are disproportionately enthralled with voice UI and voice input devices? I guess it was some sort of collective sci-fi dream of the 60s-70s to be able to converse with a computer.

I'm a boomer and I'm not passionately interested in voice input in fact rather annoyed by it. I need the tech. For me, it is age ends conditions. There are many people with conditions affecting mobility. Please consider it may well be in part due to real need for adaptive Tech.

Oh absolutely, modern voice UIs like echo are a profound advance in accessibility tech. It's perhaps one of the most life altering pieces of tech released in the last 10 years.
